Well, today brings the news that some have been expecting...I'm closing this site as of today. I've debated doing that for quite a while and it just seems as though there are more important things for me to be doing right now. This site was never treated as it should have been by many, as it was the only consistently updated site on an artist so deserving of more...however, this site got very little support and I don't really have the time anymore to devote myself to this. I have no idea whether Shawn ever visited the site or not, but I always got the impression that her management was more annoyed with it than pleased about it...however, many thanks to Lisa in particular at AGF for at least responding to my questions. I wish there were another Shawn site out there that I could direct people to, but hopefully somebody will start giving Shawn the attention she deserves and update her official site at www.shawncolvin.com more frequently. I have nothing but incredible respect and appreciation for Shawn Colvin and her music. I will continue on as a loyal fan. She is an incredible, unique and underappreciated artist whose words and music touch many more than she will ever know...and I know that for a fact because for the last several years I've gotten countless kind and warm e-mails from many of her fans telling me just how much her music has meant. And to those that did write out of appreciation or with a question, I say thank you and wish you all the best. It was you I was continuing this site for.
